Sweet and funny Korean dramas are my favorite types to watch. To my delight, You're Beautiful was one of them. From the very first episode, it hooked me into an exciting ride with its fun, layered characters and lighthearted plot. Every episode had several cute, funny, or heartwarming scenes that either made me laugh out loud or giggle shamelessly. To date, You're Beautiful is still my favorite drama of all time.
Pretty much every character had quirks and traits that made them so real and likable. Taekyung with his trademark pout, Shinwoo with his charming kindness, Mi Nyeo/Mi Nam with her innocence. My favorite, however, would have to be Jeremy. Jeremy: cute, cheerful, and childish. His adorable actions and facial expressions made me smile every time. I grabbed the first chance I could to dedicate a fanlisting to him; thus, Very Good Words was born.
It wasn't until I needed to put text on the layout image when I realized that I couldn't think of a single good name for the fanlisting. Something with the word "yellow", perhaps. And then it struck me: "Very Good Words"! (The "very good words" being "I love you".) This was the name of the song Jeremy sang in his most memorable scene of the entire drama. In episode 14, Jeremy sang this song on his "magic bus", and it was the song he planned to use to confess to Go Mi Nyeo. This was the only scene in the whole drama to cause me to tear up; Lee Hongki's acting was simply amazing.
With the title chosen, I finally opened the fanlisting on December 28, 2009.
